Looking up at the hills, there is no trace of civilization, simply trees, and snow, horses, chickens, and pigs.\u00a0 Birds and geese flow overhead, and occasionally you will see a plane or helicopter. It truly feels as if the world has vanished, and taken all your worries and troubles with it.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_186\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itfarmersblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/import\/painted-piggies.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-186\" class=\"size-full wp-image-186\" title=\"Pigs with Spots\" src=\"http:\/\/www.itfarmersblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/import\/painted-piggies.jpg\" alt=\"Pigs with Spots\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-186\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pigs with Spots<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Recently, George has been expanding his herd with spotted pigs, which look quite festive.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_187\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itfarmersblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/import\/trailofpiggies.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-187\" class=\"size-full wp-image-187\" title=\"Pig Paths\" src=\"http:\/\/www.itfarmersblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/import\/trailofpiggies.jpg\" alt=\"Pig Paths\" width=\"540\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-187\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pig Paths<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Inside the fence, there is a pond which supplies\u00a0drinking water. The pigs have learned to use the\u00a0 same path, as it&#8217;s easier when the snow gets a few inches deep. This particular path leads to\u00a0the one place where the water is not frozen.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_188\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itfarmersblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/import\/piggiepiggie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-188\" class=\"size-full wp-image-188\" title=\"A bit too close for comfort\" src=\"http:\/\/www.itfarmersblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/import\/piggiepiggie.jpg\" alt=\"A bit too close for comfort\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-188\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A bit too close for comfort<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Most pigs are friendly, but this one was about as heavy as me, and right in my face. I was kneeling down to get a close up shot of a baby pig when I noticed just how close this big guy was.
